As an apprentice television engineer I was fascinated by the simple logic of the workings of radios and car engines etc. Some years later I became interested in the subject of ‘Life after Death.’ and how it all works. After 50 years of personal experience and reviewing scientific research it’s obvious to the modern mind that the whole subject relies on the answers to two very practical questions: ‘How can we survive death and if we can where do we go?’ The answers are very old news but they could make a positive difference as to how we live our lives and how we might take the sting out of death.

‘I always think that the story of the universe, the earth and mankind sounds more like a chapter from Alice in Wonderland: We are virtual ghosts in a universe made of light energy living in a world containing countless forms of intelligent beings. Man has virtually sprouted out of the dead earth clinging to the side of a huge rock spinning in endless space fully conscious and equipped with a brain to reason with and eyes to see that the mighty universe exists. For centuries man has looked to religion to understand the why and the how of it. In much of the modern world those answers are believed to have come from man’s imagination. Sadly religion is all too often an embarrassing and controversial subject and yet to solve these mysteries there is a tendency to look to the holy books rather than science. Even many of the devout don’t seem to visualise the world of the dead as a real place. Just as people not so long ago would have found our present world magical, the answers to the big questions are bound to be just as hard to believe.

About 140 years ago after a long and challenging investigation looking for fraud amongst mediums, FRS scientists and inventors upon whose shoulders modern science sits, declared that life after death was the only answer that fitted the facts. The Church of England too did their own research and declared that it justified the teachings of Christ. Arch Bishop Cosmo Lang suppressed this finding until it was leaked 40 years later. Perhaps he was concerned that people seeking contact with the other side would open themselves up to violent, bitter and dangerous individuals who have taken their unresolved problems with them. Since then many different scientific disciplines and the experiences of millions of people have accumulated a tremendous amount of proof that the other side is real.

For thousands of years mankind has believed in heaven, nirvana, the happy hunting grounds but not understanding science thought that he could take all of his valuables and even wives and servants with him. What happens is that we are conceived with a twin body, a double, a backup file, atom for atom which gives us life because it is in the same space but on a different frequency beyond the known spectrum in the multiverse. It is the double which allows a near-death experience, it is indestructible so no wrinkles and no missing parts. In a few recorded cases those born blind could see whilst out of the physical body and had the words to describe what they were seeing. Some can actually leave the body naturally and see it peacefully sleeping on the bed joined by an umbilical cord pulsating with life and seen at a distance like a silver cord. The intrepid traveller can investigate our world and real worlds invisible to us in the greater reality and return to tell us what it all means for example, when someone dies it can be so fast that they can leave the body avoiding the experience of a horrific death or accident. Some individuals even refuse to believe that they have passed over but with many there is a wonderful look of amazement that they are still alive and young again.

The spiritual planes are side by side like television stations in the same space perhaps only millimetres away from the physical worlds. This is the amazing home that we left at birth choosing to be an independent person exercising free will. We keep on returning over and over again to this and other worlds learning all facets of physical and spiritual life. Other people’s freewill can bring us joy but also causes some terrible events that many blame God for. The ancients imagined a vengeful God requiring physical sacrifices when in fact the God within us is a part of the God without: This is an unimaginable loving intelligent eternal energy which contains all that is. Love is the common denominator, mind is the creative tool and we each of us is a part of a family which has lived countless lives. Some individuals from your previous life may be by your side unseen, others in your present life you may recognise when you eventually return home. There you will look in awe at the places and worlds where you have been and the things that you have done.
